product launch – conceptual website
A parallax scrolling website seemed the perfect opportunity to generate some “electricity” about the release of the new Cadillac ELR, Cadillac’s premier electric car. As the user scrolls through the site, a blurred background becomes clearer, along with letters that appear to blow into place, revealing the message and dramatic end shot. Further scrolling reveals a counter to heighten anticipation of the upcoming launch date. Additional scrolls would be built in to highlight the car’s many aesthetic and environmentally-friendly features.
